- A VBS Volunteer Meeting will be held today, following worship. We need to make sure that we have enough leaders to hold VBS. Specifically, we need a Preschool Storyteller and a Preschool Craft Leader, and we need at least one adult to help coordinate and lead crafts for the main classes.
- Mark your calendar for VBS July 12-16.
- Deacons will also meet today, following worship.
- Session meets this week on Thursday at 6:30 pm. Get your reports to Michelle by Monday.
- If you attended a new member’s class and would like to be received into membership, please plan to attend the session meeting at 7 pm, if possible. If this isn’t possible, please contact Pastor Cindy. If you would like to become a new member or if you wish to transfer your membership and want to know a bit more about becoming a Presbyterian, join us in the fellowship hall following worship on April 19 or May 17.
- The Fellowship and Evangelism committees have merged into one, now called Fellowship and Outreach, and are seeking additional members. You do not need to be a member to join the committee. If you like food events, then this is the committee that could use your help! Contact Liz Johnson or Bonnie Suydam if you wish to join.
- We are seeking volunteers to work on a Church Safety Policy. We will look at questions of locking doors, what to do in case of a tornado warning, the location of fire extinguishers, etc. Contact Tadd Swanson, Pastor Cindy, or Michelle Lane, if you would like to help with this project.
