Snowball Mountain Challenge: Find Your Strength in God
Sunday 7/12/26 thru Thursday 7/16/26
For Children Age 3 thru Entering 5th Grade
This year our Bible Stories were Joseph Interprets Dreams(Night 1, Genesis 40:1-41:45), Esther Shows Courage(Night 2, Esther 3:7-8:8), The Widow's Offering(Night 3, Mark 12:41-44), Jesus Prays in the Garden (Night 4, Matthew 26:36-46), and Peter and John at the Temple (Night 5, Acts 3:1-10). The Lift Lessons were "I can share my gifts!", "I can be brave!", "I can give my all!", "I can pray!", and "I can hope!". The children had music, craft, story time, and Recreation. But they also had Snacks that followed the theme each night at the end of VBS. The final night of VBS, they had an excellent performance where they sang "Philippians 4:13" and "Snowball Mountain Challenge". Our Mission this year was the Farmington Recreation summer unplugged day camp. Initially we pledged a minimum of $300 with a goal of $450 which would provide half day registrations for 3 children. It costs $150 per kid for the whole season for a half day. The Estimated Total raised for our Mission this year is $861! We have well passed our Goal this year, more children will be able to have a half day registration provided.
Our Mountain Motto was: I can do all things through him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
